Hey y’all! I’m a twenty-something year old girl in the South that daydreams about working for “Cooking Light” magazine. But alas, those are just dreams. In reality, I work an 8 to 5 job as a program coordinator (specifically childhood obesity prevention) trying to fit at least 5 sweat sessions in a week to balance out the eats on the weekend that aren’t always so healthy while cooking fabulous dinners for Big Guy (the hubs-to-be) to come home to. But to me, it’s all about moderation. I love a cocktail (or two) and celebrity gossip. My morning cup of coffee is a necessity and if I’m hungry, I’m grumpy. Summertime is my favorite because I get to wear sundresses and Pirate football consumes my Fall. (PURPLE….GOLD…) I love laughing and I believe that a glass of bubbly will solve world problems.
You’ll hear me mention Big Guy more than once on the blog – that’s my husband (still weird to call him that). We got married April 27th, 2013 and I couldn’t be happier. I hope you enjoy our eats and adventures!
