Seeing as though the original post for these brownies has over 450 comments, I’d say this is probably a recipe worth sharing. I mean, it’s like a brownie and rice krispie treat combined. But to make it even more indulgent, there’s peanut butter and Reese Cups involved. I know.
I can’t handle it either.
The brownies start very innocently with basic brownies. So basic, I used a boxed mix. If you’re Betty Crocker and want to make the brownies from scratch, more power to you.
But then things start to get a little out of hand.
The basic brownie is topped with peanuts and chopped Reese Cups.
And why stop there?
Melted chocolate and peanut butter is mixed with rice krispies and then spread on top of it all.
And since they’re so addicting, I dare you to just have one.
Onto more healthy things…Like the dinner menu for the week.
Tonight - Chili Roasted Vegetable Salad (an acorn squash has been staring at me for a week…I must use it)
Tuesday – Teriyaki Chicken with Black Sesame-Ginger Carrots on the side
Wednesday – Orange-Mustard Glazed Pork Chops
Thursday – leftovers or a salad
Friday – Out to dinner (it’s Restaurant Week!!!)
